China Stocks Wobble on Market Caution

The Shanghai Composite slipped 0.2% toward 3,850 while the Shenzhen Component edged up 0.16% to 13,085 on Wednesday, with mainland shares posting mixed moves as caution set in ahead of the Federal Reserve’s policy decision. Investors also tracked the latest US-China trade talks in Spain, where both sides reached a framework agreement to shift TikTok’s ownership under US control. President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping are scheduled to speak on Friday to finalize terms. Among individual names, steep losses hit Victory Giant (-7.5%), Dawning Information (-5.2%) and Zhongji Innolight (-4.4%), while Zhejiang Sanhua (+4.6%), Wolong Electric (+6.6%) and Shanghai Construction Group (+10%) recorded strong gains.
