Denmark Manufacturing Output Rebounds in June
Denmark’s manufacturing production grew by 2.7% month-on-month in June 2025, after a revised 0.3% fall in the previous month. This was largely driven by a sharp rebound in the output of machinery (14.2% vs -18% in May) and transport equipment (9.5% vs -4.7%). Increases were also observed in the production of chemicals and oil refineries (3.5% vs 0.9%), textiles and leather products (1.5% vs 1.4%), and furniture and other manufacturing (3.3% vs 0.8%). However, growth in the pharmaceutical industry slowed significantly (1.6% vs 10.1%), while production of food products, beverages, and tobacco declined further (-2% vs -0.6%). On a non-seasonally adjusted yearly basis, manufacturing output decreased by 3.5% in June, easing from a revised 7.8% drop in May.
