Finnish Inflation Steady at 0.2% in July

The annual inflation rate in Finland stood at 0.2% in July 2025, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its lowest since December 2020. Prices moderated for health (6.85% vs 7.33% in June), furnishings and household maintenance (1.71% vs 2.22%), recreation and culture (3.10% vs 3.14%), and restaurants and hotels (1.26% vs 1.65%). At the same time, costs declined further for housing and utilities (-3.53% vs -3.46%), and miscellaneous goods and services (-1.73% vs -1.09%). Meanwhile, price growth accelerated for food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.07% vs 2.2%), and communication (5.81% vs 5.78%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.2%, rebounding from a 0.2% fall in June.
