Retail sales in Norway stalled month-on-month in June 2025, following an upwardly revised 0.1% increase in the previous month. The stagnation was mainly driven by declines in sales of ICT equipment (-0.6% vs -6.2% in May), other household equipment (-0.2% vs 3.0%), food and beverages (-0.5% vs 1.0%), and other goods (-1.2% v. 0.2%). These were partially offset by gains in sales not in stores or stalls (4.4% vs -2.4%) and automotive fuel (0.9% vs -1.7%). On a year-on-year basis, retail activity rose 4.3% in June.
