Sweden GDP Grows 0.1% in Q2

The Swedish economy expanded by 0.1% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter of 2025, after a 0.2% contraction in the first quarter, according to a flash estimate. Mattias Kain Wyatt, an economist at Statistics Sweden, said that after a decline in May, economic activity saw an upturn in June, contributing to modest overall growth for the quarter. On an annual basis, GDP rose by 0.9% in the June quarter, matching the pace recorded in the previous period.
