Estonia’s producer prices rose by 3.3% year-on-year in August 2026, easing from 3.5% in the previous month. Price growth slowed in mining and quarrying (3.4% vs 4.7% in July), while it declined in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning, falling sharply by 13.8% from 8.4% previously. Meanwhile, producer prices in manufacturing accelerated to 4.8% from 3.5%, driven mainly by higher prices for beverages, leather and related products, wood and wood products, paper and paper products, coke and refined petroleum products, chemicals and chemical products, basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, other non-metallic mineral products, fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, and machinery and equipment n.e.c. Costs in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities remained unchanged at 3.4%. On a monthly basis, producer prices advanced 1.4%, rebounding from a 0.6% drop in the previous month.
