The Saudi-led coalition said on Tuesday that air defences intercepted and destroyed four drones launched by the Houthis towards the southern region of Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported.
Saudi Civil Defense issued early warning alerts for a potential hostile threat in the Eastern Region and in Kharj governorate, before later saying the danger had passed in both areas.
On Monday, the Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen’s Houthis stated that it carried out a military operation “aimed at neutralising sources of threat”, as the armed group claimed attacks on infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
